Meet The Warrior Ambassadors
Our Warrior Ambassadors are more than volunteers. They are the backbone of this mission. These men and women give more than their time — they invest their expertise, their resources, and their hearts. Long before a veteran steps into the blind, our ambassadors are scouting land, monitoring water levels, preparing gear, coordinating logistics, and planning seasons sometimes a year in advance.
They donate equipment and supplies. They make calls. They send emails. They build relationships with landowners and guides who are willing to open their property to those who have served.
I
n the field, they provide leadership, ensure ethical conservation practices, and offer ministry, mentorship, and stewardship. They walk beside our veterans — not just as guides, but as brothers and sisters in purpose.
They do far more than accompany a hunt. They help carry the mission.

Matt Cole
Matthew Cole is a lifelong Missouri native, proud husband, and devoted father with a deep passion for the outdoors. Raised with a strong appreciation for hunting and fishing, Matthew developed his love for the land and wildlife at an early age. His father instilled in him the value of hard, honest work—principles that continue to guide him both personally and professionally.
As a volunteer with Mission 419 Outdoors, Matthew is honored to give back through the outdoors he cherishes. He believes in the power of hunting and fishing to bring people together, build character, and create lasting memories. Whether in the woods or on the water, Matthew is committed to serving others, supporting his community, and sharing the traditions that have shaped his life.

Audra Messick
Audra is a skilled angler with extensive knowledge of hunting and fishing, especially trout. Based in Mountain Home, Arkansas, she has faithfully served her community for many years as a mail carrier in Cotter. She is married to Dennis Messick, and they have a son, Douglas, who attended Arkansas State University.
Audra has been fishing for trout in Arkansas rivers and streams since she was old enough to hold a fishing pole. Her father taught her the tricks of the trade as he, too, is an avid outdoorsman. She grew up in the outdoors, camping and fishing with family and she continues to share that love of the outdoors with others.

Tanner Sjo
Tanner Sjo lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children, Grayson and Olivia. He is passionate about faith, family, friends, and freedom. A musician of 26 years, Tanner has spent much of that time serving in his church. He enjoys duck hunting, trout fishing, spending time outdoors, and working on hands-on projects

Art Lundberg
Arthur Lundberg is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran who served 22 years on active duty before retiring in November 2023. Throughout his military career, he developed a deep commitment to service, teamwork, and leadership, along with a strong appreciation for resilience, discipline, and the importance of supporting fellow service members—values he continues to carry into his civilian life.
Arthur is passionate about the role hunting and the outdoors can play in helping veterans reconnect with purpose, community, and the natural world. He believes ethical hunting, conservation, and time spent outdoors provide meaningful opportunities for healing, mentorship, and camaraderie among veterans. Through his involvement with the organization, he hopes to help expand access to hunting opportunities, support conservation efforts, and ensure that veterans have spaces where they feel welcomed, supported, and connected.

Nick Spears
For the past 13 years, I’ve been completely hooked on all things waterfowl. from early mornings in the blind to the off-season prep that keeps the passion alive year-round. When I’m not chasing birds, you’ll find me hiking the rugged beauty of the Ozark Mountains in Missouri and Arkansas or exploring the depths of Missouri’s caves in the “Great Cave State.”
Professionally, I work in industrial construction, primarily focused on food and beverage processing facilities. I’m also a strong advocate for men’s mental health awareness, believing that strength isn’t just physical, it’s mental too.
